Application tool
Applying to the University of Graz? Here’s what to do.
Looking to apply to one of our study programmes with an admission process? Sounds good, simply follow this guide.
With our application tool, you’ll always be on the right track:
- Register
- Sign up for a study programme
If there are more applicants than places on your study programme at the end of the registration period, then a selective admission process will begin:
- Online self-assessment
- Admission examination
We recommend that you complete the online self-assessment in any case. The admission procedures BA Psychology, MA Psychology and MA Pharmacy are one-stage procedures, that means there is no online-self-assessment needed, but an entrance examination.
Enter your personal details in our application tool and choose your study programme. Your registration will be complete once you have paid your cost contribution.
We strongly recommend that international students inform themselves about the requirements for general admission to studies in addition to the admission procedure for restricted studies: Admission Guide
Please note that admission examinations can only be taken in German; likewise, the application tool is only available in German.
Important dates
1 March to 15 July 2022
Use this period to register and do not wait until the last second before applying.
You will find out after 15 July 2022 whether there will be an admission process for your study programme.

Registration
Registration in the application tool is required for studies with admission procedures and limited access. Even if you have already participated in a past admission procedure, you still need to create a new account, as we are obliged to delete user data from previous procedures for data protection reasons (DSGVO).
You will need a working e-mail address to do this, to which other e-mails and status updates will be sent during the application process.
Make sure you note down your log-in details.
The application tool is your trusty companion right through to when you start your study programme.
Once you have registered, you can sign in using your log-in details at any time and check the status of your application.
Select study programmes
In the application tool, you can pick your desired study programme with an admission process. Choose as many as you like!
